In this role, you will be part of our Transport Execution Team managing a customer account transport team from our depot in Diss, Norfolk. You will be communicating with internal and external customers about their daily delivery performance and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Transport Department.

THE ROLE:
In this role, you will be part of our Transport Execution Team managing a customer account transport team from our depot in Diss, Norfolk. You will be communicating with internal and external customers about their daily delivery performance and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Transport Department. Your working days will be Monday to Friday and you will report to the Head of Transport.
THE SALARY:
£32,000 – £38,000 depending on experience.

OFFICE BASED:
This role will be based at our customer site in Diss, Norfolk.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan resources to match the business workload.
- Produce daily reports for transport planning.
- Track loads on the various TSP systems.
- Update the TMS (Mandata) system.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Qualifications: A Management CPC is an essential requirement.
Experience: You will have experience working in a logistics environment and be able to work collaboratively with drivers and the team, ensuring the smooth running of the department. You will have knowledge of digital tachographs and you will be competent in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Stock software programs). To hold previous experience with telematics is advantageous.
Communication: You will show us that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with our colleagues and our clients. You will engage and communicate with audiences made up of a diverse background across all areas of EV Cargo.
Influence & Persuasion: You will have the ability to effectively influence others and build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
People & Self Development: You will be a self-starter with a passion for transportation and a commitment to excellence. You’ll be organised and will be able to handle difficult situations. We would like to see you develop and progress within a growing company.
