Global logistics and supply chain provider EV Cargo has been ranked in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s Top 30 Logistics Service Providers for 2022, a report that recognises logistics operators which best exemplify excellence.

In a unique double achievement, EV Cargo’s Palletforce, which operates the UK’s leading express freight distribution network, was also placed among the top 30 providers.

Ranked alongside other international logistics giants, the list was formed by assessing a range of key criteria evaluating data such as financials, performance, professional accreditation, gender pay gap and human resource factors.

EV Cargo’s mission to manage supply chains for the world’s leading brands sees it deploy global supply chain solutions across a range of industries. It has also pioneered technology and innovation within its vision to transform logistics into a technology industry.

Guided by its values of growth, innovation and sustainability, EV Cargo impressed judges with a growth strategy to surpass $3 billion of annual revenue by 2025 through organic growth and M&A activity – the recent acquisition of Fast Forward Freight playing a key role.

As a signatory to the UN Global Compact, EV Cargo has also made considerable strides across a range of sustainability initiatives including decarbonising distribution operations by introducing alternative fuel transport options such as electric trucks and HVO diesel.

Heath Zarin, EV Cargo Founder, Chairman and CEO, said: “We are delighted to have earned two places on this prestigious list and are pleased that our efforts to provide the best possible service to our customers have been recognised.

“The top ranking is a testament to every single one of our colleagues around the world who strive to deliver service excellence to our customers, especially during times of ongoing global supply chain challenges.”

Kevin Richardson, Chief Executive Officer at CILT (UK) said: “The last year has been a year like no other for the logistics sector, and many businesses stepped up in a big way.

“The organisations recognised in this list played a critical role in keeping the economy going throughout one of the most challenging years on record.

“Now in its fourth year, CILT’s Top 30 UK Logistics Providers list has become a staple in the Institute’s calendar and a key role in the suite of materials that recognise industry achievements and best promote the vital role of our sectors.”
