EV Cargo’s Palletforce is celebrating 42 million pallets passing through its leading international distribution network, driven by years of investment and buoyed by recent post-lockdown record volumes.
Historic investment across infrastructure, membership, skilled people and the ability to continually pioneer award-winning technology is reaping rewards for Palletforce as it broke daily, weekly and monthly records in August.
Underpinned by a hugely successful digital sales and marketing campaign as lockdown restrictions were eased, and benefitting from COVID-safe contactless technology, recent network volumes are tracking 20 per cent higher than the same period last year.
With a shift in full truck loads to smaller part truck consignments, Palletforce can easily cope with fluctuating volumes while maintaining the highest levels of quality service.
Its superior membership, unique Alliance Sense artificial intelligence and pallet selfie function is ensuring the highest level of delivery performance and unrivalled customer service despite the hike in volumes.
Michael Conroy, Palletforce chief executive said: “We are extremely proud to hit the milestone of 42 million pallets of freight through the Palletforce network, which is testament to our years of continued investment and the mammoth efforts of our members.
“With the financial support of EV Cargo, we have invested in infrastructure, capacity, brand and technology. However, our most precious asset is our wonderful people right across the membership and network who go the extra mile to ensure we remain the number one network.
“We are digitising the business for the future and are focused on enabling growth for our members by providing stability, confidence and the highest-quality international distribution services for their customers.”
