Colleagues at EV Cargo Global Forwarding took part in a national initiative aimed at raising awareness of mental health.

The “Time To Talk” project encourages everyone to be more open about mental health, spreading the message that a small conversation on the subject has the power to make a big difference.

Despite the fact that this year’s event, which was held on 4 February, took place remotely, teams from EVCGF were entered into a mental health-themed quiz, game of bingo and card game.

They also made a pledge to change the way they think and act about mental health in the workplace, either on a virtual pledge board via Teams or a pledge board in the office.

One of those taking part was Sara Beale, who said: “I find walking my dogs really helps with my mental health. Even if you are not walking with anyone you can appreciate what’s going on around you and the exercise releases endorphins which make you happier in yourself.”
