EV Cargo, a leading global freight forwarding, supply chain and technology company, has appointed Jason Lin as Vice President – Commercial, Greater China.
An industry veteran with over 40 years’ experience in global logistics, supply chain management and eCommerce fulfilment, Mr Lin will play a key role in EV Cargo’s continuing expansion across Asia with a focus on strengthening commercial relationships with airlines and ocean carriers and developing EV Cargo’s air and sea freight and eCommerce propositions.
Having held senior management positions with both global freight forwarders and ocean carriers in Hong Kong, China and Canada, Mr Lin will help EV Cargo capitalise on the market potential in China to achieve its growth targets.
Mr Lin started his career with Maersk Line in Hong Kong and in Canada serving for 22 years and contributing to a period of significant business growth. Then as VP Sales, Asia, for C.P. Ships, Mr Lin drove growth across China, Japan, Korea and South East Asia, before leading significant sales progression across China as Director of Sales and Marketing with Hapag-Lloyd (China) Shipping.
As Senior Director South China for Agility and subsequently General Manager for CH Robinson in Hong Kong and then Chief Commercial Officer for Janco Holdings also in Hong Kong, he acquired substantial experience in the development and delivery of integrated global logistics solutions.
EV Cargo, which manages supply chains for the world’s leading brands, aims to surpass $3bn of revenue by 2025 through organic growth and strategic M&A activities.
EV Cargo is investing in its global team to position itself for growth and resilience with worldwide supply chain challenges providing ongoing opportunities for it to utilise its technology-enabled solutions.
