Investment in the widest range of distribution services, enhanced sales support and new European partners has seen Palletforce grow its European volumes by over 25% this year.
The launch of a new partnership with Heppner in France earlier this year has seen volumes more than double since 2018, while freight to Italy has grown by nearly 40% with Germany and Ireland also experiencing significant increases.
Volumes have been driven by Palletforce extending its range of services to European markets to connect global trade and unlock revenue and growth opportunities for its members.
That was supported by a dedicated European product and sales conference, enhanced coverage to a greater number of countries and improved rates to key markets – all with the aim of creating long-term security with profitable and sustainable new business for members.
Additional capacity provided by the state-of-the-art central SuperHub drives efficiency for members with the ability to use a single distribution hub and one trunk vehicle whether the freight is destined for the UK or abroad. Sector-leading technology and IT gives members and their customers the confidence of being able to track and trace their consignments through one unified system.
Palletforce sales and marketing director Dave Holland said: “Palletforce continues to deliver commercial benefits and growth opportunities for members and, by working side by side with the best European partners, we can provide them with a competitive advantage and place them in a prime position for expansion.
“Members are really benefitting from a simple system that is easy to understand and use. They can use the same collection and line-haul vehicles as their UK deliveries, our pricing is more transparent than other networks and the invoicing process is straightforward and easy to manage.”
